About

Beyond design, I embrace life with curiosity and passion. I’ve often been called “unrealistic” for the amount of imagination I bring into what I do, but I see that as my greatest strength.
My nine years as a kindergarten teacher showed me how creativity and empathy go hand in hand. Working with children taught me that everyone approaches problems differently, and that playfulness is often the key to solving them. That experience shaped how I collaborate, communicate, and adapt to unique situations today.
Still, I felt a growing need to create in a way that could reach beyond the classroom. I sketched, filmed, edited, and experimented, but I wanted to use creativity to help people in a more tangible way. That’s what led me to study Communication and Multimedia Design at The Hague University, where I discovered UX design as the perfect bridge between imagination and impact. Today, I channel that same curiosity and drive into my work as a UX Designer, crafting experiences that connect, support, and inspire.
Outside of design, I’m also a dedicated athlete, competing at the World Championship level as a drummer in a dragon boat crew. That sport, much like UX, demands reading what isn’t said: faces, eyes, gestures, and validating what you think you understand. It’s about translating quiet signals into action. A skill that continues to shape how I design and collaborate every day.
biggest accomplishments
Developed an accessible surveying method that reduces completion time by 20% through the use of user-friendly gamification techniques.
Achieved 10th place on World Championship Dragonboat Racing in 2018 on all distances.
Graduated with a 7.5 for my project on low conversion rates for a company with 324,000 customers, revealing that their website lacked user trust and transparency.
Got the Jumbo supermarkets to change their peanut butter design to be more accessible.

When I’m not on the water or lifting weights, I love to travel and explore new places—especially those that are immersed in nature. Despite my fear of heights, I push myself to climb mountains, embracing challenges along the way. The most challenging peak I’ve conquered so far is Mt. Huashan in China, standing at an impressive 2,154 m meters high.
I’m also deeply passionate about photography, capturing the beauty of new places. My fascination with nature drives me to explore and document its wonders wherever I go.
